I was a postdoc with Hanspeter Pfister at Harvard University. I completed my Ph.D. at MIT CSAIL under William Freeman. I finished my undergraduate in Maths from Brown University (transferred from Tsinghua University), where I worked with Charles Lawrence, Erik Sudderth and Stuart Geman.


Research

Our group studies the interplay between biological sciences and computer vision: building computational models for biomedical image analysis and examining brain mechanisms to guide computer video understanding.
